Hey guys did you know that plymouth is having it's first anime convention on december 9th at the copthorne hotel
it should be fun but tickets are selling out quickly

I believe Laurahole is doing this as well, it sounds really cool. Matt and I will be living in the midlands by then but I might come down for the event!

I can confirm that Laurahole is indeed going to have a stall at the event. I believe that for a rpice she will draw you as a superhero/manga character. If you want to see her artwork either go into waterstones plymouth (new george st/the better shop) and look at the bay headers in the scifi/fantasy section/graphic novels area. The artwork there is all hers done by hand.

You guys!!! It was pretty fun drawing for the sci-fi section. Most is taken from artwork from books in the section but a few of them are original pieces that I thought up in my very own head! (like the raven on the grave and the zombie chick in the horror section.) I'd be happy to put pics up on here if people want to see? And it just so happens that the whole reason I was asked to do the convention was because the organiser came into work and saw them, then asked about them, so I was pretty giddy with excitement over that.
